Why use this

Why fix page orientation and order?

Scanned documents frequently come out with a handful of pages sideways or upside down, especially when scanning a mixed stack of portrait and landscape originals. Reading a document with rotated pages is awkward, and most viewers will not auto-correct it for you.

Page order matters just as much. Documents assembled from multiple scans or exports often end up with pages out of sequence, or with a blank or duplicate page that needs to go. Fixing this after the fact usually meant re-scanning or using expensive desktop software.

This tool handles all three problems - rotation, order, and unwanted pages - in one pass, entirely in your browser, so your document never has to leave your device to be cleaned up.

Each thumbnail shows the current rotation applied. Click the rotate icon repeatedly to cycle through 90, 180, and 270 degrees before saving.

How it works

Rotate and reorganize a PDF in three steps

Page previews render with PDF.js and the final file is rebuilt with pdf-lib, both entirely on your device.

1

Upload your PDF

Select or drag your PDF into the tool. Every page renders as a thumbnail so you can see the current state at a glance.

2

Rotate, reorder, or remove pages

Click the rotate icon to spin a page 90 degrees, use the arrows to move a page earlier or later, or click remove to drop a page entirely.

3

Save the edited PDF

Click Save edited PDF. A new file downloads with your rotations, order, and removals applied - the original file is untouched.

Tips for cleaner PDF edits

Rotate before reordering

Fixing orientation first makes it easier to visually confirm the correct page sequence when you start reordering.

Zoom in on thumbnails if unsure

Thumbnails are intentionally small for a fast overview. If a page looks ambiguous, check the original PDF at full size before deciding how to rotate it.

Removed pages are not deleted from your original

The source file on your device is never modified. Removing a page here only affects the new file you download.

Save often for large documents

If you are making many changes to a long document, consider saving intermediate versions so you do not lose progress if you need to start a section over.

Password-protected PDFs will not load

Remove password protection first, since the browser cannot access encrypted page content.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole document?

Yes. Each page has its own rotate control, so you can fix a single sideways page without affecting the rest of the document.

What happens to a page I remove?

It is left out of the final saved PDF. Your original uploaded file is never changed on your device.

Can I undo a change before saving?

Rotations can be clicked again to cycle back to the original orientation. To undo a reorder or removal, re-upload the original file and start over.

Does this reduce PDF quality?

No. Pages are copied directly from the source file with rotation metadata applied - no re-encoding or quality loss occurs.

Is my PDF private and secure?

Yes. All rendering and editing happens on your device using PDF.js and pdf-lib. Your file is never uploaded anywhere.
